TRYOUTS
For the Spring 2025 season.

All tryouts take place at New Hope-Solebury High School Stadium.

Travel FLAG is for the advanced player who wants an additional challenge along with additional training. Empower your player to gain skills and confidence in a fun, competitive, and organized environment.

TRYOUTS
Teams are filling out or forming in the following age groups for boys and girls. Players participate in two tryouts. If prior family plans prohibit attending both tryouts, attending one will suffice. Please arrive early to check-in and get your FREE numbered Tryout Shirt.

Tryouts will include skill demonstrations through a series of drills focusing on:

• Throwing

• Catching

• Flag pulling

• Coverage

• Overall speed and quickness

• Sportsmanship and leadership qualities

TRAVEL FLAG YEAR
The Travel FLAG year has two seasons. The Fall season runs from mid-August to mid-November and the Spring season runs from March to May.

TOURNAMENTS
Each team will participate in three tournaments per season. The tournaments are local, single-day tournaments. All teams will participate in the same tournaments whenever possible, which fosters a supportive and unified environment.

• Fall Brawl - September 21st, Conshohocken, PA

• Halloween Havoc - October 26th, Conshohocken, PA

• Turkey Bowl - November 24th, Conshohocken, PA

• We Run the World New Jersey (Girls) - March 22nd, 2025
  or

• March Madness (Boys) - March 23rd, 2025

• Cherry Blossom - April 27th, 2025

• Beast of the East - May 16th-18th, 2025

PRACTICES
Typically, teams will have two 90-minute practices per week on either Mondays, Tuesdays, or Thursdays. PENN Athletics acknowledges that athletes may be participating in other sports programs. Flexibility may be provided for athletes with other commitments, at the discretion of the coaching staff of each respective team.

COACHING
We are seeking high-quality coaches for each team. If you would like to be considered for a coaching position with your child’s team, please click the appropriate box on the Tryout Registration Form. Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches receive a PENN Coaches Shirt and a PENN Sweatshirt.

UNIFORM
A full uniform includes two Game Jerseys, Pocketless Shorts, and Socks. The full uniform is approximately $130. Other optional items may be purchased, like warm ups, back packs and extras.

REGISTRATION FEE
The Tryout Registration is Free. The Travel FLAG Seasonal Registration Fee is $395 per player for the Travel FLAG Spring Season. It covers all team costs, including tournaments, fields, equipment, administration, and any other team expenses. Selected players are expected to also participate in our regular NFL FLAG League. Please register for that as normal. The regular NFL FLAG practice schedule and the Travel FLAG practice schedule will not conflict with each other.
