  • 8U: 7/31 and 8/5

  • 10U: 7/29 and 8/5

  • 12U: 7/22, 7/29 or 8/5

  • 14U: 7/29 and 8/5

  • 18U: 7/22 and 7/28

 

  • Tryout times to be determined. All registrants will be notified.

  • Tryouts will include skill demonstrations through a series of drills focusing on throwing, catching, flag pulling, coverage, overall speed and quickness, sportsmanship and leadership qualities.

  • Please arrive early to check-in and get your FREE numbered Tryout Shirt.

  • Prospective players must attend at least one tryout to be considered.

  • All tryouts take place at: PENN Athletics Club, 5110 York Road, Doylestown, PA 18902

  • Selected players may also participate in our regular NFL FLAG League. Please register for that as normal. Travel FLAG games and practices may conflict with regular NFL FLAG games and practices. We do our best to avoid scheduling conflicts, however, some conflicts are unavoidable.

AGE GROUPS

  • 8U: Players born between August 1, 2016, and July 31, 2018.

  • 10U: Players born between August 1, 2014, and July 31, 2016.

  • 12U: Players born between August 1, 2012, and July 31, 2014.

  • 14U: Players born between August 1, 2010, and July 31, 2012.

  • 18U / HS: Players born between August 1, 2006, and July 31, 2010.

TOURNAMENTS

Each team plays in four local, one-day tournaments each season. Whenever possible, all teams join the same tournaments.

  • Fall Brawl - September 27th, United Sports, Downingtown, PA

  • Halloween Havoc - October 25th, WSFS Bank Sportsplex, Seaport Drive, Chester, PA

  • Turkey Bowl - November 22nd, WSFS Bank Sportsplex, Seaport Drive, Chester, PA

  • To be determined - October or November, 2025

COACHING

We are always seeking high-quality coaches. If you would like to be considered for a coaching position with your child’s team, please complete a Tryout Registration as a coach.

PRACTICES

Typically, teams will have two 90-minute practices per week. PENN Athletics Club acknowledges that athletes may be participating in other sports programs. Flexibility may be provided for athletes with other commitments, at the discretion of the coaching staff of each respective team.

UNIFORM

A full uniform includes two Game Jerseys, Black Nike Pocketless Shorts, and Black Socks. Other optional items may be purchased, like warm ups, back packs and extras.

TEAM EQUIPMENT

Each team receives a red pop up tent and red foldable bench. Each team is also issued a Team Equipment Bag tailored to their specific sport and age group at the beginning of the season during Uniform & Equipment Pick Up. [Read More]

REGISTRATION FEE

The Tryout Registration is completely Free of charge. For those who make the Travel FLAG team, the Seasonal Registration Fee is set at $475 per player. This fee comprehensively covers all team-related expenses, including participation in tournaments and leagues, payment for referees, field rentals, and necessary equipment.

OFFER ACCEPTANCE

Players may choose to accept an offer and secure their spot either by making a $200 deposit payment or by paying the full amount upfront. Please note that the full payment is required no later than Labor Day.
