Field Closure Policy

All field closures will be posted on our website, and affected participants will be notified via email through LeagueApps.

Decisions to close fields can occur at any time. We monitor weather conditions but generally do not cancel based on forecasts alone, as weather can change quickly. We typically wait until rain is imminent or active before issuing a closure.

For practices, the club determines overall field closures. However, if conditions are unplayable upon arrival, coaches may cancel their team's practice on the spot.

For games, the club also makes closure decisions, but referees have the authority to suspend or cancel a game at start time based on field conditions.

In the event of lightning, clear the field immediately. For games, wait 30 minutes for the weather to pass before attempting to resume. If at least half the game has been played, it will be considered complete. Games stopped before halftime will be considered incomplete and may be rescheduled.
